This document goes over some information for finding the password you will need to use to connect to your BEC's Wifi signal and how to set a new name and or password.


Finding the Password to connect to your BEC Router's Wifi Signal:

On the back of your BEC Router there is a lot of information but you should see it listed as the 'WiFi Key' It will be a short string of Numbers and Letters.


If for any reason you cannot connect you can call our Tech Support team who can assist with this.




Setting a New Network Name and Password:


  1. On a phone or PC connected to the BEC's Wifi Signal open a browser and search for 10.0.0.1
  2. Use the Username root and Password HelloWorld$ to login.
  3. Go to Network > Wireless 2.4GHz and change the SSID Setting to whatever you want the 2.4g Network to be named and then set the Pre Shared Key to whatever you want the password to be.
  4. Click Save & Apply.
  5. Go to Network > Wireless 5GHz and change the SSID Setting to whatever you want the 5g Network to be named and then set the Pre Shared Key to whatever you want the password to be.
  6. Click Save & Apply.
  7. After changing these you should get disconnected if you are using a wireless connection so you will need to connect to the new Network Name with the new Password you set.
